Budgam, Sep 29 (KNO): One terrorist was killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Gurwatkalan area of Budgam district late Tuesday evening, officials said.
A top police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the operation was launched after security forces established contact with the terrorists in the area.
He said a joint operation is underway, with security forces having killed one terrorist.
The area has been cordoned off and additional security forces have been rushed to the site.—(KNO)
